I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at Harvard University. I am currently finishing my dissertation, which will become a book called: Veganized: How Cultural Entrepreneurs Transformed a Fringe Movement.

The book is about how veganism evolved from a fringe animal rights movement into a mainstream lifestyle through the work of cultural entrepreneurs. My work has been featured at the Cambridge Forum, on the Harvard University's Veritalk Podcast, the Harvard Gazette, Harvard MagazineHarvard Crimson, and The Atlantic, among other media outlets.

My academic work is generously supported by the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies, and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Harvard University.

I am President of the Harvard Vegan Society Student Group, Founder of the community advocacy group Boston Plant-Based, formerly Program Director of the Ivy League Vegan Conference at Harvard, and hold a Certificate of Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
